Bloodtest levels

Bloodtest levels

History = RAI 1/2004 no thyroid without meds:

I had my recent lab tests faxed to me and I need some input :

On Dec 27 I had these tests done
Free T3 = 5.5
Free T4 = 1.1
TSH =     0.03

I got a call saying I was Hyper T I was instructed to go off all Armour and my Rx would be changed in 1 week from 120 mcg to 60mcg.

I called the office back on Jan 9 and said I was really "feeling good" that day. I brainstormed and suggested I needed a "baseline" number and since I felt so good that I maybe should have another test. My doc agreed and I returned to have the exact same test done that day. Here are those results:

free T3 = 3.1
free T4 = 1.1
TSH    = 0.02 WOW lower!!

How can I feel better with a LOWER TSH!!!!

Now I have been on the 60 mcg for two weeks and this past weekend I crashed SAT SUN and MON  Armour has been very good to me and I see faster changes very quickly (I started it 2 months ago w/120mcg and noticed the change within 48 hours after taking it)  I didn't feel horrible on 120 mcg and I am concerned 60mcg is quite a big change.

I understand the lower TSH the more hyper you are and vise versa

What about the free T3 and free T4? Why such a jump in numbers?

What I don't remember is what actual TSH number usually shows when it is good?
