Can I be hyper/hypo thyroid at the same time?

I have hypp and hyper thyroid symptoms? Is that possible?


This discussion is related to High Cortisol, Low Progesterone, Hypo/hyper thyroidism leading to insomnia?.

I would say that you may be dealing with thyroiditis, where the thyroid sputters in and out of hyper and hypo activity. I would be curious to know your levels and symptoms

Do you know your free T3, free T4 (and their reference ranges) and TSH?

Are you on thyorid meds?  If so, for how long?  What meds?

I would say your FT3 is a little high and your TSH a little low.
Correct me if I am wrong.....
Its called 'crossover' symptoms.
