Can meds be cut in half?

I am on Armour thyroid. I started it 2 months ago. My dosage was changes from 120mg to 60mg. is this change extreme?

I find today, I am very tired and can not manage the day. I felt good on 120mg? but did feel a little hyper. Can you cut the pills in  1/2? I still have some 120's left and if I cut them in 1/2 then logically they would be at 60 right?

Logically, yes, but it is still the same dosage you are on now.  If you cut the 60 in half, then you could try 60 and 30 which would give you 90
