Cervical Dystonia and Hypothyroidism

Greetings,

I was wondering if it is possible for Cervical Dystonia to cause a low thyroid?

Thanks in advance!

I never knew it was to do with your neck either..I do have scoliosis of the spine and that has thrown my neck out of shape, but i dont know if what you have would effect the thyroid function, but someone here should know, best of luck Dawn.

Cervical Dystonia is where the neck either moves involuntarily from side to side or is bent in a certain position (where the muscles are consistently contracted).  It's like working out 24 hours a day, because the muscles never get a rest.  I have heard that it can be very fatiguing and I have experienced that in the past.

I don't know what cervical dystonia is, but I have lots of feminine issues, including endometriosis. I am hypothyroid (low thyroid hormone).
