Choking with hypothyroid

My question is about my 4 year old daughter who has Hypothyroidism. She seems to choke on everything including water. Is this related to the Thyroid or is thuis something different??

I havent talked to her doc yet. I have an appointment with her doc this friday and I'm going to run it buy her. The doc hasn't said weather its Hashi's or not. I'm going to ask her that also. No she hasn't had an U/S yet.
