I think you definitely need to add some T3 to your meds.  However, 25 mcg is a high starting dose.  If I were you, I'd quarter the 25 mcg tablets and take a quarter two times a day (once first thing in the morning and once late morning to early afternoon, depending on your schedule).  After that has a chance to settle out and you retest, you can increase as needed.

T3 is more potent and faster acting than T4, so you have to be a bit conservative to start.

I don't understand.  You had FT3 and FT4 tested in February?  And then you dropped your levo to 150 mcg and added 25 mcg T3 (lio), is that correct?  When did you do that?

Your doctor is ordering total T3 and total T4.  FREE T3 and FREE T4 are much more useful tests as they tell the amount of the hormones that are available to you cells.

TT4 is at 68% of range, which is actually high of the 50% target for FT4.  However, your FT3 is only 17% of range, and that's considerably low of the upper half recommendation for TT3.  FTI is considered a fairly useless test.

So, it looks like your T4 meds need to be decreased a little, and you need to add in a direct source of T3 (Cytomel, generics or desiccated).

It depends on your labs.  Please post them with reference ranges from your own lab report.

Do you have hypo symptoms?
