Confused..... Low TSH, Normal T3 and T4, high antibodies

by Bec27, Feb 09, 2009 11:01PM
My GP has just diagnosed me with possible thyroiditis. My TSH is 0.01 but T4 is 15.1 and T3 is 5.2. Thyroglobulin Ab is 170. A thyroid scan shows possible sub-acute thyroiditis. I have been referred to an endocinologist but can't get in for over a month. My GP says these results aren't anything to worry about but as I am experiencing quite serious joint pain I am a bit confused. I have seen a rheumotologist for the joint pain and as my crp, esr and rf are all normal he doesn't think the joint pain is arthritis. Can these thyroid results cause such joint pain?
