My GP has just diagnosed me with possible thyroiditis. My TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh is 0.01 but T4T4 test is 15.1 and T3 is 5.2. Thyroglobulin Ab is 170. A thyroid scan shows possible sub-acute thyroiditis. I have been referred to an endocinologist but can't get in for over a month. My GP says these results aren't anything to worry about but as I am experiencing quite serious joint pain I am a bit confused. I have seen a rheumotologist for the joint pain and as my crp, esrEnd-stage kidney disease Esr and rf are all normalNormal saline flush he doesn't think the joint pain is arthritis. Can these thyroid results cause such joint pain?
