Cytomel and Synthyroid

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer back in Oct.  I had surgery to remove my thyroid and some lymph nodes in my neck back in Nov.  I went through RAI in Jan.  Since Jan. I have blood work done every 45 days to monitor my T4, TSH, and Antibodies.  I was on 100mcg of Synthyroid, than 137mcg of Synthyroid and now 125mcg of Synthyroid.  The problem is I still am not feeling normal.  I have brain fog, memory issues, depression, fatigue and at times insomnia.  I am getting very frustrated.  My Endo has not even checked my T3 levels.  I have done lots of research and am reading alot about Cytomel.  I need to find an Endo in NJ, who for one will check my T3 levels but also prescribe me Cytomel at least on a trial basis and see if my symptoms improve.  Please help if you know of a well informed Endo in NJ because I really cant live my life with a diminished quality of life much longer.  It is affecting all areas of my life.

Have you requested a Free T3 test from him, just insist you want this test, he works for you, not you for hims, If he heitstes ask him if he has ever heard of a "Conversion" Problem, where your body does not convert From T4 to T3, Put him on the spot, if he says he has never heard of this issue, then I guess he just did not pay attention in medical school. he cannot diagnoes or medicate properly without a Free T3 test, and cannot determine a conversion issue either, if the Medical schools cannot educate these clowns, then maybe we need to start.
