Dark circles around eye.. ?? Because of?

Hi there.. i just have a question:

Are Dark eye circles.. especially in the "corner" between eye and nose caused by hypothyroidsm? I never had those dark eye circles.. but since i got sick with hashi's.. i've got them immediatly! I have them since 5 years now.. and they are annoying me because i look sick.. i am a man and i cant do some make up.
Im on Acella and have not got to my "magic" dose yet.. i'm on my way to it... will them dissappear when i got better?

I agree, probably not on a correct dosage or your meds needs to be tweaked.

when I was accidently overdosed which is not good, my circles went completely away....better blood circulation but too high dosage also gave me bad migraines etc.....so that is not good...
they kept lowering my dose every 4 weeks to get me down and now I think I am on a dose too low and need mine to be tweaked and guess what...black circle are back....

Hey there! I've discussed this (and the constant hair loss) with my endo quite a bit. Yes you will see the issues linked to your Hashi's diminish when you find a dose that regulates your levels-BUT- It can take up to 3 months AFTER you are regulated for your body to return to it's previous state. She said that it takes some time for your body to normalize after being so off.  You will find the right dose and your circles should go away :) just be patient-you will still see and feel the effects of hypo for a bit afterward.  Good luck! Positive thoughts!
