OK, so I don't think there is any way in the world I have Addison's Disease. After realistically looking at the info and checking into it I don't think so! What I do think I have, and have thought it for a long time, is CushingCushing syndrome's Disease or Syndrome (whichever you want). If you know anything about CushingCushing syndrome's and you saw me you would think it immediately.
Tried to talk to the endo's nurse today, but wasn't able to. Have been trying to post a question to Dr. Lupo, but it is ALWAYS full. So now am leaning on all of you again to see how much knowledge everyone has on this subject.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as always!

I have noticed that lately a lot of people keep posting twice to Dr. Lupo in one day. It's a little unfair when they do that.
I don't know about Cushings but have nurse friend who was tested for it and will ask her.
15% or more of people with one autoimmune disease have two...but I just don't know a thing about Cushing's. The nurse friend couldn't immediately think of a way that it would be impossible, she just said one is thyroid and one pituitary..
It doesn't mention this specifically but an organization called the autoimmune disease research foundation has an interesting site...cureautoimmunity I think it's called.
What are your symptoms? If your early morning cortisol was low then there is a chance the rest are which could just mean adrenal insuf., that is what I also had, tey have to check it so many times within a day and urine, mine was done in the hospital. My symptoms were blood press. drop, sick to my stomache, diahrea, and my nerves seemed shot. They say this is a rare thing and docs usually dont check it that is why it took me almost to my death bed after 5 months of them not knowing what was going on, 7 trips to ERs also. Also you may crave salt to as when this is going on if it gets to low you will stop absorbing salt, potassium and not sure what else.

i have been hypothyroid for 10yrs and now i am having cushings tests they can all be connected and so can fibromyalgia as far as i know. Having a low cortisol reading does not automaticly rule out cushings as it is a very hard condition to diagnose and can give many different test results.I am on 200mg thyroxine per day and have many cushings symptoms hump, weight gain, stretch marks, moon face, feet swelling, and stomach is huge weight increase even though i have an extrememly healthy diet hope this helps you
