I was diagnosed with Hashi's about eight years ago. I do have amxiety issues, but for the past several months I have had a dry mouth on and off. Just wondered if anyone with hashi's has this, my thyroid is controlled with medication.

I have hashimotos for about 4 yrs. The only time I had dry mouth, was around the time of my thyroid cancer. Don't worry, it doesn't mean that you have cancer. But what you could do is try rinsing with water each time you feel dry. I use to rinse and drink lots of water. Rinsing with water will help the dry sticky feeling you get.  And also you should rinse after every meal. Are you a smoker? Smoking will only make it worse.Even tough I've had a total thyroidectomy, I'm not as dry as I use to be because of  rinsing with water. They do have a product for dry mouth at your local pharmary. You can also ask your dentist about the dry mouth. He was the one that told me about the rinsing with water. Plus I also would suck on some of Halls fruit breezers or hard candy like lemon drops.
