According to Quest Diagnostics Reference Ranges:

Free T4-   0.8-1.8
Free T3-   230-420

You need to get a copy of your labs and see what reference range they used.

I found reference ranges expressed in pmol/L.  For free T3 it is 3.5-7.7 and for free t4 it is 10.2-19.2.

ok thanks.. so i am "normal"
i am so confused cuz i have a lot of symptoms pointing to thyroid problems...
my TSH was 2.67 one time then a month later it was 1.45 (most recent test)
and so if they are all normal whats going on! Can we really rely on these tests?
i am waiting for test result on antibodies.

i know the ref ranges now of the lab my docs use..
Free T4:  range 9-21
Free T3 3.8-6

so looks like i am normal according to the tests!
hmmmmmm
just got the results back for antibodies too and again... i'm "normal"!

thyroid peroxidase antibody level;
**Unexpected Numeric Value found: 10 iu/mL (0-35)**

ok so what the hell does that mean?!?!?!?!

I am soon to be seeing a specialist about my symptoms so hopefully he will be able to help.
