Does this mean my thyroid treatment is working?

My face is finally not so dry as it was when I was very low thyroid.  I am under treatment now that I am hypo after having RAI treatment.  Is this a clue that it is slowly getting under control?   I don't get my blood work for a little while yet and I just want to know when does the weight issue get better?

I totally agree with Liz.

I have noticed the better my TSH is - the better I feel. My skin is better now - but I have been miserable for a long time and I condition with well........ olive oil and it has made a BIG difference.

Now for the weight I gained.......... to be continued................ LOL

Yeah!  That is the opposite.  Hyper first and lost weight then became hypo and regained it after RAI treatment.  Hoping that taking the medicine will get me normal again!

I've never had a weight issue but my hair is out of control dry and my face is pretty dry too.  I've noticed that things got worse the longer that I've been in a hypo state. My levels are slowly coming down now and I'm not as constipated anymore but my hair is a dried out mess and this is a recent thing. But I've been hypo since December.  I'm hoping once that # goes down that I'll have my hair back!  Not sure about the weight thing, I've always had the opposite problem. The more hypo I got the more weight came off. Now that things are getting back to normal I'm gaining it back. I guess I'm just a freak!
