Markings are different. The last batch was from another state so no telling who they bought from. On a good note~ I've taken Levo from my home pharmacy and have done fine so I'll just make sure I have enough when I leave state again. Good to know this stuff! Thanks LazyMoose and Deb!

Check the ingredients in both.
Usually there is a differerent 'filler'.
Pharmasists can fill generic levothyroxine with what ever they choose. Yes it can be made by a different manufacture, sometimes the pharmacist wont even know - kind of scary. They just order generic levothyroxine from the distributor and what they get can be a mystery. I have seen it spelled both ways in the past too when I was on it.
What you need to do is look at the old pills and new ones and compare any markings.
