Dry eyes even when TSH is good

I am wondering if even after you're treated and TSH is good (mine is at .8 or so) if the symptoms can persist as part of hashimoto's.  I have chronic dry eye syndrome which my endo says is not part of hashi's yet I have had it for as long as I've had the hashi's.

Also, my blood complement levels are low which my endo also says is not part of hashi's.

I saw a rheumatologist who has diagnosed me with mild sjogren's but my blood is seronegative and I'm not totally convinced of the diagnosis still wondering if its all related to the hashi's.  Of course sjogren's can cause hashi's too so its kind of a chicken or the egg thing.

Just wondering what some of your thoughts might be on this.
Thanks

I deal with dry eyes, but mine are due to Thyroid eye disease.

I have Hashi's and Sjogren's and mixed connective tissue disease.  As to the dry eyes, I'd bet on the Sjogren's. Mine started off with dry mouth and throat  (really, really dry). I was diagnosed with MCTD first, then Hashi's and the Sjogren's was the last.  Many of the symptoms of the various auto-immune diseases are the same, so it is difficult to pinpoint which disease caused which symptoms, the main thing is to get them under control.  And once you have one, it seems like a domino thing, you just keep getting more.

Yes, I agree....that is a tough call.  I would focus on treating the dry eye symptoms and not focus on why, for now.  It is a tough catch 22 for a lot of us.
