Ear Pressure

I have had ear pressure and an inconsistent pulse in my ear for nearly a month. It hurts on occasion but a majority of the time it is more a nuisance. At first I thought it was a build up of wax so I bought some OTC remover, however it has not helped. I just learned recently that my thyroid, along with other hormones are not working properly which I am taking some homeopathic solutions to regulate.

Could this ear pressure be related to my Thyroid or BP?
What path would be the (best) recommended to take to get checked for what the cause would be? Ear/Nose/Throat Doc?

You have to be very careful of Dr Google... things can be misdiagnosed/treated and be made much worse, without consulting your doctor.

My mother has had ear pressure for 8 years with no diagnosis from 4 ENT specialists and 4 GPs.  When my mother mentioned coffee worsened her symptoms, I googled and found she has Secondary Endolymphatic Hydrops (SEH). She also has Hashimoto's thyroiditis so this may have something to do with the condition perhaps. For now she is drinking more water and withdrawing from coffee.

I don't know what homeopathic methods you're using to regulate thyroid hormones, but if your thyroid is really not working properly, the only way you can regulate your hormone levels is to take thyroid replacement hormones, which are available only by prescription.

If you let us know exactly which hormones are "off" and what the exact levels are, we can better help you figure out what to do.  The pressure could be related to blood pressure - is that outside the normal range, as well?
