TSH, T4 & T3 are what they check to determine thyroid functioning. The doctor will also consider your symptoms. You should definitely see an endocrinologist as they no more about thyroid. I got put on antidepressants too before I found out I had an issue with my thyroid. Antidepressants didn't work.
Congrats on your baby!I am glad he is healthy after coming so early.
See your doc about a full panel thyroid blood work. pregnancy often affects the thyroid.
Let us know how you are .

Thank you for reading about me. When I was pregnant they did a blood test on my throid... however, I don't know what that entailed. What are TSH, T4 & T3 tests? Matty is growing so fast. He is thriving and a very good baby. For a while I was worried because he spit up loads all the time and had tummy trouble. But he seems to be over that for the most part, and dr says its just immature tummy. I am now worried that whatever is going on with me effecting him, especially when they ran the hep tests, but dr says to do everything the way I am now until they get it figured out. Gramother-in-law had thyroid cancer and they didn't detect it with blood tests, she insisted on MRI contrast tests and that is how it was diagnosed. She says alot of these symptoms are or can be thyroid related. How are u handling your hyperthyroid? Glad to her ur little one is safe.
They didn't do a thyroid panel while your were pregnant? Have you had TSH, T4 and T3 tested? How is your baby? I'm hyperthyroid and my baby was also checked after he was born. He's negative.
I have no answers, but I will say a prayer for you to hopefully start feeling better! God Bless.. I m sure youll be fine, stay positive.!
