My liver enzymes were doubly elevated too when I had a hyper episode. Once put on meds(i''m in remission now, no meds current) my levels returned to normal. Did you take any cold medicine the night before, or drink any alc beverages? I'm sure it's nothing but it definitely should be tested again in a month.
When I was Hypo and not medicated my AST was 127 (15-41) & ALT was 62 (14-63) My dr didn't seemed too concerned. She has never tested it again. I do have a lot of swelling most of the time and I haven't been able to figure out why. I might start drinking the lemon/ water and see if I notice a change.
Medications are very hard on the liver. I can't think of one that the liver won't have to filter out and sometimes a careful look at cleaning it can help when a person needs to take medication.
I'd really dig into reading about mild liver cleaning and see if that changes things. A simple lemon/water drink all day sipped can have a direct effect on helping the liver syabilize with medication.
Another thing to consider would be to talk to your doctor about sublingual meds for thyroid to bypass the liver some. In thyroid medication like Canadian ERFA can be taken sublingual to enter into the blood cells more than stomach to assist. This would be a doctors choice on how to treat and may not support this type of thyroid medication. Its only an option that some use.
Up to four weeks ago I was on 88mcg Synthroid for about six months and 75 for 2.5 years prior to that, I was also on Statins for cholesterol which elevate liver enzymes and my levels were AST 30 0-40 and ALT 49 0-55 I have been on Lipitor 10 to 20mg for years, although I do not drink any alcohol because that also elevates liver enzymes, and being on statins I did not want the risk of raising them more. But I have Hashimoto's and was not aware that the Hypo condition caused elevated liver enzymes, I know it increases cholesterol levels and BP Good Luck FTB4
