Erfa-anyone taking it?

can you please discuss your optimum dose of erfa?  my dose was raised to 145mg and it pushed me into  hyperthyroidism. i consulted an out of state endo who stated, in the elderly the dose should be kept low to avoid heart problems.  my regular endo does not agree with this view, and keeps increasing my dose. how do i find a new local endo in my area who agrees with the out of state endo--who i believe is correct.from my readings on the subject.

I take Erfa. Dosing is like any other dessicated, the amount differs per individual- per what gimel mentioned.

Please post your thyroid related test results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report.  Also, what made you conclude you were hyper?  What other symptoms do you have?  

Actually the objective for any dose of thyroid med should be to adjust as necessary to achieve euthyroidism, which means neither hyperthyroid nor hypothyroid, but somewhere in between.   Too low of a dose of needed thyroid med actually is detrimental to heart health.
