Extreme hunger

by wan_dee11, Dec 04, 2008 11:57AM
My TSH is 15.55 and have yet to do anything about it beyond taking 5 drops a day of absorbable Iodine drops for 2 months.
All of my blood work is normal except glucose being 105 and the biggie is a TSH of 15.55
I am an 81 year old female in good general health without a weight gain problem. 132 lbs for many years.
My problem is being weak and having to eat often due to extreme hunger. How can I get my hunger under control?

Have an appointment on 20 Jan with a endocrinologist.

Your TSH looks high, it is a good idea going to see an ENDO, may be you need some vitamins/minerals too.
