FNAC

Smears show abundant colloid material and large number of follicular epithelial cells in monolayered sheets. Also seen are haemosiderin pigment laden  macrophages. Miligant cells are not seen.

Was there a summary where the pathologist gave his/her opinion of what it was?  Have you talked to your doc yet?

The haemosiderin pigment laden macrophages just means there was old blood in the sample.  This could be from a cyst or from previous FNAs.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like a benign colloid goiter.  This is good news.
