Feel'n bad...

Did blood work last Sept. 08.  These were my results:

Thyroglobulin AB(0.0-14.4 IU/ml):      41.9 H
Thyroid Peroxidase(0.0-3.9 IU/ml):     253.80 H

Doc said I had Hashimoto's.  Could that be why I can't get pregnant & I have 4-5 menses last year?  Should I be on any kind of medication to control the wt gain, inability to lose wt,thinning hair & dry skin?

What were your thyroid lab results? TSH, Free T4 and Free T3? These will tell you where you are at with your thyroid.

Yes testing for the thyroid along with the Hashimoto tests will determine what plan your doctor will have in mind.

Since your Hashi test - what has the doctor done for you?  Did he put you on meds?  

Has there been any discussion on any ultra sound scans?

Had 2 ultrasounds & both said that I have a heterogenous enlarged thyroid & the doc has not given me any meds.  Should I be?  The last report even suggested that I have an RAI, but they never set me up for one.  What should I do?

First thing your dr should do is to do your bloodwork for your thyroid function: TSH, Free T4 and Free T3.....that will tell if you need to start meds. I would insist on these tests before anything is taken.
