Ferritin & Hashimotos
Hi Dr. Lupo,
I read this page online about Hashi & ferritin being linked through hydrochloric acid depletion. Could this be true? The website I read it on is; http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ferritin/
I just had an ultrasound yesterday & I am having the endoscopy next week. I am so fed up with all these tests, I just want answers. :(
It's tough to get answers when so many things could be issues.
Simply being Hypothyroid can cause HC depletion. It's a fact and many are miserable until they most their system up to running right.
I suggest you get a PH test and increase your acid ( if depletion is the issue) with Apple Cider Vinager. That will increase the acid and stir the system to get you running correctly. Add in a probiotic too,
