Foods to be avoided by people having hypothyroidism

I have heard that hypothyroid people should avoid kale,spinach,dates,pears etc from their diet.Is is true?

You can do a "google" to come up with a list of foods to be avoided.  This list includes soy, raw cabbage, broccoli, strawberries, grapefruit and some others......I make a point to avoid soy -- the others, I only consume hours after I've taken my thyroid med and pretty well figure it's been absorbed............

Make sure you wait at least 4 hours between thyroid med and vitamins/minerals......

And everything in moderation.

Those foods are very healthy and no problem as part of a balanced diet.

Just avoid soy foods.  That's all.
