I've never lived in Iowa but my hubby says that they used to go to Illinois (just a few minutes away) to drink when they were younger... either b/c the drinking age was lower or the bars were open later... Currently getting adjusted to a new dose because my thyroid is out a wack. Officially post-menopausal as of April 14. Possibly looking for a new doctor if the current one doesn't monitor my symptoms and progression close enough.

Other nodules haven't been FNA'd (or even looked at for that matter). All test results, so far, are "normal", in spite of symptoms. Getting free T's tested this week (finally!). Was dx'd with chronic fatigue syndrome last week.

Still in the testing stage. Getting free T's, ferritin, vit D, RBC elements tested this week. Also doing 24-hour cortisol saliva test (for adrenal fatigue) and DMPS urine mercury challenge tests (to test for mercury toxicity).

7. Currently on 75 mcg synthroid and waiting for lab results from last week for an adjustment. No RAI due to small size of tumor....will monitor antibodies and supress TSH to .3-1 range.
