That's weird. I just mentioned on another thread the benefits of having the blood flowing through being active. Voila! Here's a great example of that - you. Congratulations on accomplishing a goal and feeling great.
Congrats MK. It does feel good when you accomplish a goal. I know myself when I started on the treadmill after my surgery. It really gave me the boost I needed. And believe it or not I feel like I have more energy after I run.
I gotta say... I am getting there. I have my Dr checking my other hormones.. estrogen, adrenals etc.. I just feel I am on my way. I know there will be bumps in the road, but nothing I can't handle!! I'll let you all know how the tests come out!!
Rock on! Reclaiming my pre-disease active life was one of my highs and very empowering. I can't say I have gotten back to where I was, but I am moving forward and its something. Some days are harder than others, but it's nice to feel in charge of something. :)
Thanks C! It really does feel great! Just need to get the blood flowin and heart beating strong!!!
Today is an 8 for me!!!
And anybody out there who wants to run with her .. download your weight loss tracker .. jogging is on there to list as an "event" ..
WTG MKlacza! This is so great to hear!
C~
Could you please pass some of your energy over this way?? I can't remember what it is like to have the energy to run......in crawling mode....napping mode.....crawling mode....napping mode. lol
Yay! Go for it! Just don't get too hooked and do a Forrest Gump on us! Great to achieve something on the Goal list.
