Going back to the normal TSH but not normal post froma few days ago

Last TSH came back 1.79 Endo says I am OK. I say I am NOT. Well today she told me to get a GOOD primary care physican...I want to know where to find a GOOD DOCTOR...Sure as heck aren't listed in the phone book like that and your taking a chance with any of them. The last time I went to a primary care doc he treated me like an idoit and said...and I quote"ARE YOU AWARE YOU HAVE A THYROID PROBLEM??? (gee you think) this is after i have filled out the paper work to see him and if he would have bothered reading it he would have seen my RAI date, when I was diagonosed etc.  Basically it ticked me off. I went back to see a primary last year for the swollen wrists (now in my hands and arms) and the doc just sent me off for a carpel tunnel test, didn't ask me when how  etc or feel the puffingness just sent me off for a $500 test that showed nothing. I would really love to find a good doc, make this muscle stiffness, aches and swelling go away. I would love to get results fix the problem and go back to my endo and say HA there was something wrong and you pushed me off because you thougt I was ok. Bad thing is my endo only check TSh and now of the other levels or blood tests that could show what is going on. I even asked for a full blood work up and they didn't do it.    I am not sure what I am going to do. Just doing House work this past weekend drained me compelty.

I know you are in Louisville. I can recommend Dr. Diana Irwin. Her office is in the Baptist East complex. I can highly recommend her. She is my primary care physician.

no problem. I was not happy with my primary care doc...so I went looking for one last spring. she is the only one who has been able to get to the root of my problems by being dogged about pursuing tests and specialists. and this after being with the other doc for almost 10 years!!! I really like her.
