Goitrogens & effect on hypothyroidism

Do you include "goitrogens" in your daily meals? If so, are you able to do so without aggravating your hypothyroidism (TSH)?

I have learned there are many foods that are considered goitrogens. I try to limit/rotate them on a daily basis. Some I just plain avoid as much as possible like soy even though I'm vegetarian!

I include a wide variety of vegies in my diet. I try to rotate some of the ones that are considered goitrogenic namely cruciferous vegetables in the brassica family. I eat them mostly cooked rather than raw which is suppose to be better.
I wonder if this claim is really true?

Foods lose their goitrogenic properties when they are cooked.
