Good Thyroid Cancer books?

does anyone have a good recommendation for a good thyroid cancer book. I am looking for something on the lines of what to expect and not too much medical mumbo jumbo. I just can't sit through a textbook! I ordered The Thyroid Cancer Book and the Purple Butterfly today! Does anybody have anything good or bad to say about either?

Thyroid for dummies is an excellent easy read by Dr. Rubin.

Have you found your book yet? I'm new and just read your post.
I had throid Ca and a total thryroidectomy 12/2001. The book If ound most helpful is "Thyroid Cancer A Guide For Patients" by Douglas Van Nostrand MD FACP FACNP, Gary Bloom, Leonard Wartofsky MD MACP. Hope you are doing well!

I've read The Thyroid Solution by Ridyah Ahrems.  It was kind of depressing and scary though, but when I just went to the parts that touched on me, it was very helpful....
Honestly, I got more out of this forum...there are folks here going thru what you are...I had my thryoid out in march and it was cancerous....The folks here helped me more than anything.  Ask a specific question about what you are going thru and folks will come back to  you.
