I don't believe that smoking has anything to do with levels. Smoking does have an impact on Graves, symptoms and TED, making these worse and much harder on our system and the healing process.
Looks like you are over dosed and not on the right dose yet.
smoking increases heartrate, bloodpressure, speeds up metabolism - when smokers quit who are hypothyroid they often gain a little more weight than an average person and are sleepy until they adjust to having quit - I know I smoked for years and had low thyroid which was 4.2 tsh and doctor wouldn't treat - I know it effected me a great deal when I quit and was told it does by an osteopath who treats thyroid - good for you for quitting - yeah!
