Graves Disease and acne?

I was dx just over a year ago and have had really bad acne for about 10 months now. I thought it may have been from the prednisone, but I have been off of that for 5 months now and it is not getting any better! Any idea what it is from? Is it from being hyper, tapazole or still from the steroids?

I have Hashimoto's, but whenever my body swings to hyper mode, I get the acne all over my scalp, face and chest. I have no idea why. Nizoral helps the scalp. I haven't found anything for the face other than washing and using lots of concealer.

Usually it is associated with a spill off of progesterone into an above amount of testosterone in the body.
