Graves disease

I was diagnosed with graves disease and had the radioactive treatment to destroy it a few years back.  I have had a few times where I did not have my meds for a week at a time.  Is it normal to feel so tired and cranky?  Also I took Zirtec for my allergies and I felt like I was cloudy and just wanted to sleep and tightness in my chest.....  I am currently on 137 mcg of Levothyroxine.

I will get my results from my dr.  I know that each time that I was off my meds for over a few days I started to feel very sluggish and definitely not myself....

How you feel ( having symptoms or not) is very dependent on the level of Free T3, and secondarily the level of Free T4.  Scientific studies have shown that Free T3 correlated best with hypo symptoms, while Free T4 and TSH did not correlate.  Many hypo patients taking significant doses of T4 meds find that their body does not adequately convert the T4 to T3 and they end up with a Free T3 level that is too low in the range for them to feel well.

If you will please post your thyroid test results and their reference ranges, members will be able to assess the adequacy of your testing and treatment.
