I have been diagonosed with hyperthyroid for the past 3 years.I am now 28 and i have been put on medication and I have seen no changes, I have a goiter and this runs in my family.

The problem is my menstural cycle at first it would last for 3 days and would only be heavy on the firstday and now it is heavy all the time.  I had a period for 3 weeks and my doctor put me on NOCOLUT for two weeks and now that it has returned it is heavy and I am so embarassed to go anywhere due to the fact that I soil myself. Please help me and tell me what I can do to help this problem.

You might need to get your adrenals checked.  Irregular periods are a symptom of adrenal fatigue.  Have your blood tested for DHEA, cortisol and metabolic panel.

Are you sure your menstural cycle is thyroid related? I haven't heard of that. When I'm hyperthyroid, my period was light or none. What is NOCOLUT?
