Hair Coloring

Ok so this is not a medical question but I do need help.   On Synthroid for a TT.   My levels are now just starting to even out and I feel good.   My hair, however, is still in rough shape.  It's not falling out as much but it still feels very damaged.   I'd like to know if anybody who has had these hair issues has had their hair colored (foiled) while it was still in rough shape.   I'm not terribly vain but I'd really like to get back to my sunstreaked color before too much grey shows up!   Is this something that I should wait on?   Thanks

I am 3 yrs post op and on synthroid and ever since my thyroid is gone my hair color has had its ups and downs and more time than not my hairdresser has had to do corrective maneuvers to the professional work they do .. it tends to oxidize terribly for some reason

:(

But maybe just me .. I don't know .

I have done things to my hair no matter where i was in symptoms or meds or levels.. it really didn't hurt anything at all.. The only difference i have right now is that it isn't coloring for some reason.. I don't know if that is related to thyroid or because i just had a baby, but i don't see why you shouldn't be able to color.. I did mine in the past and always turned out well no matter my symptoms, levels or med dosages etc... Have fun :)
