What is your TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh? I'm not sure your hair loss was caused by the Levoxyl. I'm more inclined to think it's caused by the Hashi's or something else. Hair loss is a lag factor: in other words, it falls out a month or more after the stressor. I'm on Synthroid and am experiencing hair loss as well, but my TSH was 130 in April of this year, and I started the meds in May. It seems to me that the fallout is diminishing somewhat now, FINALLY!! I've been supplementing with Emergen-C, Biotin and sublingual B12. I've also read that low Ferratin and B12 can be responsible for hair loss. Nioxin is a great product for making your hair appear fuller than it is.

Thanks for your response! Tsh 130!! That is crazy! Glad to hear your hair loss is getting better. My tsh was 1.42 before tx and then .35 after 3 months of tx. I'm sure that the low tsh is somewhat responsible for the loss. He said stopping meds whould bring my tsh back to where it was. I hope so and I hope the hair comes back with it!
