Hand Edema (puffy, fluidy_

I have been on Synthroid for forever and I don't know if there is a link here but my hands ALWAYS look puffy and swollen and full of fluid.  Anyone else have this problem?  Even my feet are slightly swollen but not as much as my hands.

Thanks to anyone who might have info,
Mary

depending on your condition ( if autoimmune or not) the puffiness is a reflection of inflammation. It can be associated in the digestive track or stomach issues. Also the immune system and hormonal outline for you could be off.

In most cases there are some things that could be associated

magnesium deficieny - Vit C issues and/or iodine levels are still low.

Hi Mary,

my name is Sasha and my husband, age 24, has been experiencing something similar to your "Hand Edema (puffy, fluidy_" post back in July of '09. I was wondering if you ever got any answers to what was happening?
See, my husband for 2 years has been experiencing swollen hands and a swollen right foot. We've been to a lot of doctors but we have no idea what is going on. He's been tested for countless things like cancer, blood clots, and fractures but nothing is coming up positive -thank god for that considering cancer and blood clots-.
This has really begun to terrify my husband and I and we can't seem to find anyone who maybe able to help?
That's why I was messaging you.
I hope to hear from you, if at all possible.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Sasha L.
