Happy Thanksgiving, I'm posting my labs

I have several posts going now. Hip snapping- Vitamin B12 ranges and now my latest labs. I'll start by saying I take NP Thyroid and there have been a few shortages of it. I also have a metal on metal hip and had severe vitamin and mineral deficiencies about a year and a half ago and have been working on all that since then.

Sept- was on Armour Thyroid due to NP shortage
Oct. - found some "old" NP at a different pharm
NOV- on newly shipped-out NP Thyroid

I hated being on Armour and started to feel better back on NP in Oct, to the point that I did more in a week or two than I had in the whole past year- a lot of physical stuff. Then I got the new bottle of NP and during NOV, I had only a couple of signs I was going a bit hyper- teeth clenching, increased tinnitus and can't remember the other but I remained with many hypo things, constipation etc....but I did get more fatigued than I had been and went into a downward spiral. I have also had a constant metallic taste in my mouth for the past 2 weeks, AARRRGH! Here are my last 2 tests. Thanks for taking a look!

Aug 27, 2013   180mg NP Thyroid for One month, after being on  210mg Armour for the month prior

FT3   4.2        2.0-4.4
FT4   1.16     .61-1.12 still waiting on the right one
RT3- not back yet

total T4  8.46    6.09-12.23
TBG    25         13-39

B12 Lvl        715        50-1500
Vit D 1,25     31.5    10.0-75.0  huh?
D 25 OH      73.2      30-100

Iron                82.0    28-170
Transferrin     217   192-382
TIBC               304      250-400
Iron Sat          27         20-55
Ferritin Lvl    67.4   12-150

I have been over range and felt better than I do now. I am pretty sure they did something to NP Thyroid- even their facebook page looks a bit damning. Sorry for all the threads....thanks for looking!! Happy Turkey Day!!

Your B12 level could stand to go higher. One GP and a naturopathic doctor told me that ideal is above the range not within it. The top of my range is 946 and my level is just over 1400.

The VitD 1,25 needs to go higher too.

The hospital that draws the blood does the FT4 with weird ranges, still waiting for the regular one and my RT3 they send those out, but the regular test usually isn't over the top like their FT4 is.

In the past, even with a FT3 like that I didn't have hyper symptoms but I do have some now and it's definitely NP Thyroid I'm taking, just a new batch. I had someone in a facebook group say they thought it was different now too. A member here also went over the top after the NP "shortage" so something is definitely up.

I had seen the mention of West Pure Thyroid but didnt realize what it was !! Thanks for the heads up! Hate going through these changes though, it's been a long few years with all of this.

Also trying to figure out what's up with my iron etc.- thanks for your response!!!!

Your FT4 ranges - are these from different labs (different ranges)?

You could be hyper on this as FT4 is over and FT3 is close.

I do know that changing natural thyroid brands can mess you up for a while - its the different ffillers in them.

As far as NP changing, I have not herd about this yet. The makers of Nature Throid have a new one. Its their version of "pure thyroid" , called West Pure Thyroid, or WP Thyroid. Easilly confused with NP Throid. RlC Labs or
