Has anyone experienced night leg cramps & fatigue while on Synthroid?

Been on Synthroid for 6 yrs and am almost certain it's the med causing night leg cramps.  I trialed off it for 3 days and the cramps went away.  My doctor is considering a switch to something else, but this is so odd ---- I've been on Synthroid since '07 and have never had any issues.  (sigh).

Forgot to mention that fatigue is also a symptom being hypo.  Just getting TSH won't tell the whole story; try to get FT3 and FT4, as well, since those are the actual thyroid hormones.

Things in your body can change over time, requiring adjustments in med dosage.

I get the cramps when I am a) hypo, even if labs are "in range",  b) low in potassium or c) dehydrated/not drinking enough liquid.

Recommend that you get FT levels tested to  make sure they are adequate and check potassium levels.
