Hashimotos diease TTC HELLPPPP!!!!

I have been on synthroid for almost a year and a half. for almost a year my endo has told me that it is fine for us to try and have another baby because my thyroid levels are controlled. But I dont ovulate. I have a light spotty period if you want to call it that every 2 weeks... almost when i should and when I should ovulate. Ive been on clomid now for 5 months trying to make me ovulate and its not working. I also can't seem to lose weight. I gained about 65 pounds before getting my synthroid worked out and I just can't get it off. any advice on how to conceive with this stinking disease or how to lose weight I am desperate!!!!!

Take gluten out of your diet!  Gluten can make people infertile and also can be the cause of hypothyroidism.

well i got checked over 4 months ago. I have my next appt. a few weeks. I dont remember my levels but my endo actually said my levels were too high and she lowered my synthroid to 100 to 88 mcg. I never knew that though about it being a certain number when ttc. thanks!

Hi,

please post your TSH, FT3 and FT4 results and the ranges.  When TTC, it is best if TSH is 1 - 2, probably closer to 1 better.  But even more importantly, FT3 and FT4 should be at least mid-range.

Let us know and then we can give you some more feedback.
