Hashimotos with prominent goiter

I have Hashimotos with goiter.. I have had a burning, like swallowing Vicks, in my throat around it. Is it from the swelling or what could it be from?

Sorry to answer your question with more questions, but I have to....... Do you know if you have nodules on your thyroid?  

Are you on thyroid replacement medication to treat hypothyroidism?  If so, which medication, at what dosage?

Do you have recent thyroid labs that you could post, so  members can better assess your individual situation and possibly offer further suggestions?

If you can post current thyroid labs, with reference ranges, which vary from lab to lab, members would be able to help you further.
