Headaches - help!

I am getting desperate! In Sept. 2010 was changed from Synthroid to Armour (Synthroid had been giving me headaches behind my eyes). Went on 15 mg Armour - was wonderful! Stayed on that through a Mastectomy in December and 6 weeks of Radiation treatments - felt fine.  Beginning of June had labs done cause feeling extra tired sometimes, TSH was up to 8.6.  Increased dose of Armour to 30 mg for a month - retested and was down to 6.  Started 60 mg of Armour 2 weeks ago and have had a sinus type headache behind the eyes since 3rd day of 60 mg.
Since i was waking up with the headache a good deal of the time and Advil was just taking the edge off - I thought it might be sinus - since I have had that in the past. Tried a Z-pak which I finished 4 days ago - still having headaches and burny eyes but not quite as severe.  Had levels checked 2 days ago (only had been on 60 mg for 11 days).  TSH 2.7, Free T3 3.3, Free T4 .83.  Not too high obviously.  Fatigue is better.  I don't know whether to go see Dr. again for a different antibiotic for sinus - I just can't stand these darn headaches another minute!  If anyone has any advice, I'd sure appreciate it. Yep, I use a Netti Pot twice a day and have for the last year or so. wish things could just be more clear.

Have you tried using a neti pot.  It's a sinus rinse.  I get pretty wicked headaches behind my eyes and around the sinuses and the neti pot has been an awesome relief for me.  THe good thing about it is that it's medicine free.

Thanks for your info, Julescl - but I googled it and from what I'm seeing Thyroid Eye Disease is for people who have overactive thyroid.  I just wish I knew if this is sinus or the bigger dose of Armour.  This didn't start until I increased the dose so it seems awfully coincidental if my sinuses picked right then to get infected. I'm about ready to stop it for a couple of days and then start 45mg instead of 60 to see what happens. Is that feasible?

You might want to have your eyes checked for thyroid eye disease. I get the bad headaches behind the eyes yes I feels like sinus but mine is the swelling of the fat in the eye orbits. I would cake the Dr and see what he thinks.
