Heaviness in legs

My legs get very tired and feel like dead weights when walking.  What can cause this sensation?

I wish I could be more help on that but I'm not.  I'm still trying to learn alot about this frustrating disease.  I do know that my legs get very tired and weak as well.  Don't know why either!!  There are a lot of people on here that know a lot so maybe you will get a good answer soon!!

Are you diagnosed with thyroid disease? On meds?

Do you have TSH and free t4 levels you could post with ranges?

I feel that. I also always have purple swollen feet, and if I stand for a short period the purple color spreads up to the top of my thighs. Anyone else?????

yes i do have hypothyroid it was 59.47 about 2 months  ago and rechec ked at beginning of march it was 21.635....can that make your legs hurt and feel like there heavy and make you off balance?....thank you all for repling ....take care ...deb

I also get heavy feeling legs and at times they hurt on the top like a tooth ache.  I just asttributed the heavy feeling to depression and the hurting to tension.  linda
