Heavy Legs

by aleo85, Oct 08, 2007 06:13PM
I am a 41 yr old female.  I take .88 synthroid daily, for about 6yrs now.  Lately my legs feel so heavy, even when at rest.  When I tried to ride a bike I could not, when I rode the stationary bike for 10 minutes my legs almost felt numb when done and still hurt hours later.  I am slighty over weight but not obese.  At night my legs burn when in bed.  Could any of this be related to the thyroid problem?  I had a physical last year and everything was perfect, even thyroid levels on the medication.  I also experience extreme fatigue that comes and goes.  I asked my doctor if it could be MS and he said no, and that I had good reflexes.  My husband is tired of hearing me complain about this but I am building so much anxiety that my legs will just give out in public.  Could this be a product of just plain anxiety?

Thanks for any advice you can give.
