Help Interputing Bloodwork

I won't see the doc until next week.  I was on Interferon for 6 months which caused me to switch from hypo to hyper.  My Tsh was 0.007. My Synthroid was lowered to 137mcg.    Here are the results from blood work done Monday.

                                   Results             Abnormal Limits

T4                                                           15.1           4.6-12.0
T3                                 165                                       65-170
T Uptake                        39.9                                     23.5-40.6
FTI  ( Index)                                              6.02           1.65-4.07
TSH                                                          0.01          0.47-4.53

`
I do know my doc wants me to stay on 137mcg of Synthroid for 3 months before retesting.  What do you think as that seems like a long time before testing again.

Can you tell me if I am hyper or hypo?

I went to a different doctor today.  He was shocked the other one didn't lower my synthroid as I am being over medicated.  Heck, even I knew that!  I was on 137 but he took me to 112.  I asked him about the 12 points increments and he said he was doing more because my T4, T3 are so high.  What do you all think about that?

Also I forgot to ask him if I should skip a few days but I read here sometimes you all do, so think I will too.

You are on too much T4 med.
This shows because the tsh is very low...the T4 is high meaning the med dose is too high.
If you continue on this dose then your T3 will go even higher and cause hyper he// symptoms.
I would cut back to 100mcg for at least a week to bring the TSH up and the T4 down.
But thats only my personal opinion.
See what your Doc says.

Does anyone else think waiting 3 months is too long?  I need to get this straightened out as I am way too thin and lots of hair loss.

I feel okay but some fatigue and a lot of hair loss.  What is the range numbers for hypo.  I can't find anything on line about that.  I am hoping to switch back over to hypo.

I have been dose reduced to 137mcg for 5 weeks now and think I should reduce to 125mcg soon.  I have never been on such high dose of Synthroid  ( was 150mcg ) until the Interferon whacked my thyroid.

I am in a hurry to get this fixed so my hair will stop falling out.

It looks like you are still hyper according to your TSH and Free T4. Your free t3 is just within the normal range.
How are you feeling?
Waiting 3 months seems rediculously long!
