I just recently got my labs back and my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh is 22.0. My regularRegular insulin physician wants to increase my synthroid from 150 to 175 mg and wait 2 months to see me again. However, my chiropractor, sent me today for a full thyroid panel. Hopefully he can get me into an endocrinologist. Anyone out there have this same number?
You should be getting tested more often than once a year. Every six months at the least. Every three months would be safer. That way, if your TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh starts to go up or down, it can be corrected before things get out of hand.
I've had a TSH of 120.0, and somebody posted the other day with a TSH over 200.0. Still, your TSH did not rise overnight, and it is not good for your body to be under-medicated for long periods.
