Why fatal? My count was indeed when I stopped taking the meds. I'm scheduling an appt. with endo doc for end of Febr. I don't think my regularRegular insulin doc knows all there is to know about this. Thanks for the info
Was this result when you were off rx thyroid meds?
Bottom line is you are hypothyroid and will most likely need the medication for the rest of your life. Not a big deal, usually.
Not treating this can be very dangerous and ultimately fatal.
