Hi, I had a TT two weeks ago (tumor was 5.5 cm) and it spread to lymph nodes, outside margin, and the capsule. I'm scheduled for WBS and radioactive iodine treatment, but my endo just tested my Tg (post surgery) and it came back 147. She said normal value post surgery is 50.
I'm scheduled for a pet scan and ct scan next week.
Anyone have similar experiences with high Tg after TT but before radiation? I'm trying to figure out what this means. Did the surgeon not get it all? Has it spread to other regions? What is my prognosis if it's in other regions?
