The cholesterol may drop if you are treated. There are studies that prove that treating "subclinical" hypothyroidism improves lipid levels, particularly LDL's, the bad kind.
My cholesterol is higher than yours, but I have very high HDL's and a low ratio.
If a repeat TSH is still above 2.5, you should get treated, especially if you have positive thyroid antibodies.
I didn't think that my cholesterol was that high either, but my father's is about 30 points higher than mine and I know that genes play a big role in this. So I was just worried about it getting higher, you know? My LDL's (I call them the "lowsy" ones Lol) are ok so I guess I don't have much to worry about.
