Hyperparathyroidism & Hyperthyroidism

I have had a lump (small goiter) on the right side of me neck ever since I can remember and it hurts off and on.  I have also had a whole slew of symptoms that I now know are related to Hyperparathyroidism and despite complaining to God only knows how many health professionals about the symptoms for the past 16 years, was just diagnosed with Hyperparathyroidism in the last 2 months, because I was passing a kidney stone.  I have now found out that I also have Hyperthyroidism.  I was actually looking forward to Parathyroid surgery, but now my surgeon wants me to see and endocrinologist because all the scans and blood tests indicate that I don't have an adenoma.  He said that it is possible that Thyroiditis is causing or at least related to my Hyperparathyroidism.  This is all just way too confusing for me and I can't find any information on the internet relating the two.  Is this possible?  Could thyroiditis cause hyperparathyroidism?  If so, what is this condition called or at least where can I get more information about it?  I appreciate the help.

Please read parathyroid.com. Your levels do fluctuate. I'm curious to find out what your Calcium, D and PTH levels are. My Calcium was too high, but my doctor said it's not bad. I now know that most doctor are not experienced enough to diagnose or treat the problem. If the tumor didn't show up on the scan, it might be that it was not done incorrectly. Please read the website that I mentioned throughly!! Hope this helps.

Hi, I was just wondering what all of your symptoms are?  If you look on ****.com, it will give you alot of info on your disease.
I have been sick for 14  months and we are now beginning to look at hyperparathyroidism.  I have also had a thyroid uptake scan that showed up high, leaning towards hyperthyroid.
Do you have any heart arrythmias or high blood pressure?
