Hyperthyroid and Hypercoaguable - Factor V Leiden
I am currently hyperthyroid (Grave's), on symptomatic therapy, waiting to see an endocrinologist.

I am hypercoaguable (hetero for Factor V Leiden), with a clot history (triggered by injury).  I had to be on Lovenox at prophlactic doses while pregnant, due to the hypercoaguable state of pregnancy.   Since being hyperthyroid causes similar changes...making one somewhat hypercoaguable...does this mean high-risk patients need to be on prophylaxis?

If so...It is possible to dose warfarin while being hyperthyroid?  Or is heparin or Lovenox an easier bet?
